Help us sustain and grow classical Islamic education for the children of Kuala Lumpur.
KL Kuttāb operates as an independent, not-for-profit school. We do not receive government funding or institutional grants. Every ringgit we spend comes from tuition fees and the generosity of our community.
We believe that classical Islamic education should be accessible to every Muslim family — not just those who can comfortably afford it. That aspiration is only possible with community support.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah), knowledge that is benefited from, or a righteous child who prays for them.”
Supporting Islamic education is one of the most direct ways to invest in all three of these — it is a form of sadaqah jariyah that continues to benefit you long after you give.
KL Kuttāb is operated as a not-for-profit community school. Our accounts are managed transparently, and we are accountable to our community of parents and donors.
We do not have formal charitable status at this time, but we operate with full transparency. Upon request, we can provide a breakdown of how funds are used.
How to Donate
To make a donation, please reach out to us directly. We will provide bank transfer details and confirm receipt of your contribution.
Contact Us to DonateWe believe no child should be denied access to Islamic education because of financial hardship. Donations directly fund partial and full scholarships for families in need, reviewed confidentially and awarded based on genuine need.
From Iqra books and Quran mushaf to Arabic language textbooks and calligraphy supplies — quality materials matter. Donations help us provide every student with what they need to learn effectively.
Running a school requires investment in space, utilities, administration, and insurance. Donations help keep our fees accessible by subsidising operational costs.
We are committed to continuous improvement. Donations support our teachers' ongoing education — attending conferences, taking courses, and staying connected to the scholarly tradition.
